According to chapter 5, regulation 5.2, Public and Community Health<\/strong><\/span>: Physicians, especially those engaged in public health work, should enlighten the public concerning quarantine regulations and measures for the prevention of epidemic and communicable diseases. <\/p>\n\n

At all times the physician should notify the constituted public health authorities of every case of communicable disease <\/strong><\/span>under his care, in accordance with the laws, rules and regulations of the health authorities. <\/li>\n\t
When an epidemic occurs, a physician should not abandon his duty for fear of contracting the disease himself.<\/li>\n\t
As per Chapter 7, Point 7.14,<\/strong><\/span> it is the duty of the registered medical to divulge this information to the authorized notification official as regards communicable and notifiable diseases. It further states that in case of communicable \/ notifiable diseases, concerned public health authorities should be informed immediately.<\/li>\n\t
